Excellent example of a Luftwaffe Double Decal Helmet that had the
national shield removed in 1940 when the German High Command
issued the order to do so. SE66, #4617 with the smooth, shinny factory
paint that is in excellent condition. The Luftwaffe second pattern eagle
is a real show stopper and would be hard to upgrade. The reinforced
aluminum liner band is dated 1939 and has an excellent leather head
liner.The interior dome has the oval ink stamping and the chin strap
has a steel buckle that is in great condition.      HL-221             SOLD
