3rd Inf. Division Grouping USG-178

This was picked up locally by a friend of mine, and it has not been in a collection. A very nice grouping from a soldier that fought in the 9th motorized field artillery unit of the 3rd Infantry Division. He is listed in the History of the 3rd Inf. Div. book. The grouping consists of his Ike jacket that has his name and laundry #, with ribbons for the Bronze star, American Theater, European Theater with a spear head and 4 battle stars, Good conduct, Victory and Purple heart with Oak leaf. Attached to the lapels are the DUI for the 9th Field Artillery. His dog tags, cased, engraved Purple heart (post war engraving), cased engraved Bronze star and 3 pictures are included. There is also a cool pillow sham with the units history and insignia. A great grouping for the 3rd Division. SOLD
